Meetings: are held the first Tuesday of each month at 7:00pm.
Nov., Dec., Feb., and Mar. meetings are held at the Argenta Firehouse, 303 S North St., Argenta, IL 62501
All other meetings are held at the club grounds (except for extenuating circumstances).
This is a non-competitive ride around a Hare Scrambles style course. The Fun Rides will be held the third Sunday of the month (weather permitting) between 10:00am and 2:00pm (check the calendar of events) March thru Sept. FUN RIDES are not open to the public. They are restricted to club members, riding motorcycles, only – NO GUESTS and NO 4-WHEELERS.
July 10th – Charity race to benefit Wounded Warriors
No points hare scramble race at the DirtRiders club grounds – $5 per person gate fee (children under 12 free), $25 entry fee – all proceeds after expenses donated to the Wounded Warrior Project. A, B, C, Beginner, Youth & Vintage classes. Youth (12 and under 100cc max) & Beginners (any age, any cc bike who have never raced before) ride for 45 minutes. A, B, C and Vintage race for 1 1/2 hours. Vintage requires bike to have one or less disk brake. You must be a member of the National AMA to participate, but you do not have to be a member of a District AMA. Join the AMA HERE before race day. AMA membership may be purchased at race sign-up also. Conveniences include food, drinks, (non-alcoholic) and portable sanitary facilities. NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES ALLOWED ON THE CLUB GROUNDS!
Nov. 6th CHARITY RACE to benefit Big Brothers/Big Sisters.
First Sunday in November at the Oakley Club grounds. This is a 3 hour non-points paying AMA sanctioned event. (You must be a member of the National AMA to participate, but you do not have to be a member of a District AMA). Join the AMA HERE before race day. AMA membership may be purchased at race sign-up also and one day memberships are available. This event can be ridden as a team (each rider may use his or her own bike or the team may share a single bike) and there is the “Iron Man” classes (one rider – one bike – 3 hours). Many riders look forward to this end of the season event. Gate fee is $5 per person (children under 12 free) The entry fee is $20 plus an unwrapped toy valued at $10 or more. Donations are also welcome. All of the proceeds (after expenses) go to the Big Brothers/Big Sisters. The course is typically about a 4 mile which is fun yet challenging.
